I highly recommend this team. Asif was incredibly helpful, clearly explaining the heat pump installation and the Greener Homes Loan process. Mohammed’s installation was top-notch; his attention to detail with the wiring and system integration was impressive. The entire process was smooth and professional. 5/5 for their great work, and I will definitely use their services again.
We hired Comfort Union in March 2024 to handle a full basement project—HVAC, a cold-climate heat pump, a Rinnai Sensei RX tankless water heater, gas-fitting for the dryer, stove, BBQ and furnaces, plus a Novo water softener and reverse-osmosis system. From the first phone call to the final walkthrough, every member of the team—Asif, Mohammad and the rest—was a pleasure to work with.
Like any big job, we hit a few bumps, but the crew always made things right without hesitation. I really appreciated their forward-thinking approach: they helped us size everything properly so our 100-amp electrical panel and new Carrier furnace with Ecobee thermostat would serve us well for years. They also guided us through secondary-suite building codes and suggested smart upgrades that will save energy (and headaches) down the road.
Since the work was completed, we’ve already referred several friends and neighbours to Comfort Union—and they’ve been just as impressed. Simply put, this is the best HVAC company in Calgary. We’re grateful for their expertise and honesty, and we look forward to working with them whenever the next project comes up. Highly recommended! God bless.
I purchased 2 units of 40gal. Bradford White gas water heater believed for quality product built in U.S. with 6 yrs. Warranty thru Comfort Union . Great customer service planning and paperwork.Tech Mohammad arrived on time for the job and completed the installation and put in service without problem.I look forward for many more years using their product.
Mohammed and his son were pleasant guests in our home and were very generous with their knowledge and expertise while replacing our water tank. I’ll be calling them again next time!
I had excellent service from Mohammad. He was very knowledgeable, he showed and explained to me the work he had done – very professional. His explanations throughout the service were very much appreciated and allowed me to make choices throughout the process. That was so comforting given the difficult situation I was in at that time. We had a terrible experience with another company that was upselling us for so many things not needed. I will absolutely recommend Comfort Union to anyone asking me for a reference.
The service is top notch! They contacted me very quickly and we had the water heater installed the next day. Mohammad is a professional and knows his job well, explained everything in detail and answered all our questions. We are looking forward to using your services again!
I highly recommend Comfort Union! During a recent cold snap, I found myself without a furnace, and I received exceptional service. All of my options were clearly explained, and the team worked diligently until my home was heated again.
I felt valued as a customer and appreciated the honesty, expertise, and respect demonstrated by all. I am truly grateful for the service and support provided by Comfort Union. A sincere thank you to everyone involved.

Reverse Osmosis Calgary FAQ's
What is a reverse osmosis system, and how does it work?
A reverse osmosis system is a water purification method that forces water through a semipermeable membrane, removing contaminants such as bacteria, viruses, heavy metals, and pesticides. This process ensures that only clean water passes through, leaving impurities behind.
What contaminants does a reverse osmosis system remove from Calgary's water?
RO systems effectively reduce or eliminate various impurities, including lead, chlorine, nitrates, sulfates, and other dissolved solids, ensuring safer and better-tasting drinking water.
Is installing a reverse osmosis system in Calgary homes necessary?
While Calgary’s municipal water meets safety standards, some homeowners opt for RO systems to further improve water taste and reduce any remaining contaminants, providing additional peace of mind.
How much does it cost to install a reverse osmosis system in Calgary?
The cost varies based on the system’s complexity and features. On average, homeowners can expect to invest between $500 and $800 for the system itself, excluding installation fees.
Does a reverse osmosis system waste water during the purification process?
Traditional RO systems can waste several gallons of water for every gallon purified. However, modern high-efficiency models have been designed to reduce water waste significantly.
